Waxing for every area
Waxing removes hair from the root, so skin stays smooth for weeks rather than days, and regrowth tends to come back softer and finer over time. Every area is priced on its own, so you only pay for what you need, and you can combine as many areas as you like in one visit.
Legs and arms
A full leg wax ($80) covers the whole leg from the thigh down to the ankle, including the toes. A half leg ($40) covers either the lower leg (knee to ankle) or the upper leg (thigh to knee), also including the toes.
Arms work the same way: a full arm ($45) includes the hands and fingers, and a half arm ($25) covers the upper or lower half, including the elbow.
Underarms, back, chest and stomach
Underarms ($20) is one of the quickest appointments. The back ($40) covers the whole back, including the shoulders and lower back. Chest and nipple ($20) covers the chest including around the nipples, and stomach ($20) covers the whole stomach, including around the belly button. Full buttocks ($35) covers both the outer area and between the cheeks.
Face
Upper lip waxing ($10) takes only a few minutes and is easy to add to a manicure or pedicure appointment.
Before your appointment
- Let the hair grow to about 6 mm (a quarter inch), around two to three weeks after shaving.
- Exfoliate gently a day or two before.
- Skip lotion and oil on the area on the day.
- Avoid sunburn and tanning beforehand.
- If you use retinoid creams or take isotretinoin (Accutane), mention it when you book — waxing may not be safe until you have stopped.
Waxing aftercare
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, intense workouts and sun on the area for 24 to 48 hours.
- Skip fragranced lotions, and deodorant after an underarm wax, for the rest of the day.
- After 48 hours, exfoliate gently a few times a week to prevent ingrown hairs.
- Try not to shave between waxes.
