A gel manicure that’s worth the time
Every gel manicure starts with the part most people never see: shaping, gentle cuticle work and careful prep of the natural nail. That prep is what stops gel from lifting at the edges, and it is why appointments are booked one client at a time. There is no rushing to the next chair, so your nails get the time they actually need.
Once your nails are prepped, you choose your shade (or bring a photo for inspiration) and the gel is applied in thin layers, each one cured under a lamp. You leave with dry, glossy nails: no smudges and no waiting for polish to set.
Which gel service is right for you?
- Manicure ($50) — shaping, cuticle care and a tidy, natural finish, without gel.
- Gel polish manicure ($70) — a full manicure finished with long-wearing gel colour on your natural nails.
- Gel overlay ($80) — a layer of builder gel over your natural nails for extra strength. A good choice if your nails bend, peel or break before they grow out.
- Gel extensions, new set ($100) — added length and shape built with gel, finished in the colour or design you want.
- Gel extension refill ($80) — fills in the regrowth on an existing set and refreshes the colour.
Not sure which one you need? Book the closest option and we can talk it through at the start of your appointment.
Nail art and custom designs
From a clean French tip to star accents, florals and polka dots, every design in the gallery and on Instagram was done in the studio. If you have a design in mind, send a photo when you book so there is enough time set aside for it.
How long does gel last?
Gel polish usually lasts about two to three weeks before regrowth becomes noticeable. Gel extensions are typically refilled every three to four weeks. How long yours last depends on how fast your nails grow and how hard you are on your hands.
Gel manicure aftercare
- Use cuticle oil every day to keep the skin and nail flexible.
- Wear gloves for cleaning and washing dishes — harsh chemicals and long soaks weaken gel.
- Don’t use your nails as tools for opening cans or peeling labels.
- Never peel or pick gel off. It takes layers of your natural nail with it, so book a removal instead.
Removing gel from another salon
If you are coming in with gel or extensions applied somewhere else, add product removal ($10) when you book so there is time to take it off gently before your new set.
